Linen Stitch Dishcloths

Posted on March 11, 2016

Here are some new cotton dishcloths I recently crocheted. I wanted to try a new stitch and crocheted these dishcloths using the linen stitch. The linen stitch creates a nice thick woven-look cloth.

The easy peasy crochet pattern for my linen dishcloths were crocheted using these linen stitch details.

What you need to crochet your linen stitch dishcloth:
Crochet hook: H (5 mm)
2 ounces of cotton yarn in main color and small amount of white cotton yarn

Directions:
Chain 32 to start. Follow the crochet linen chart. I crocheted 28 rows with main yarn color and then added a round of single crochet (SC) stitches in white cotton yarn in every stitch and space evenly around cloth. Finish with a final round of SC with main color yarn to trim the cloth.

Finished size is a dishcloth about 8-1/4 inches square.
