Sea Blue Granny Shawl

Posted on October 7, 2024

I found this pretty Sea Muse Print Yarn at Hobby Lobby. I thought it would make into a lovely granny shawl. I purchased 3 skeins of 5 ounces each to crochet this granny shawl pattern by Louise Howe. The free pattern is found here.

I used a H (5 mm) crochet hook and followed the pattern as written. I did crochet one row of SC on the long straight edge to give it a more finished look. I had just a small amount of yarn left over after 40 rows. My finished triangle granny shawl size is 31 inches by 54 inches wide.

This is a easy crochet pattern that make a very pretty shawl in my opinion. The yarn doesn’t photograph very well but it is a really lovely blend of colors.
